For the sixth year in a row, Air New Zealand has again been crowned the Airline of the Year by the world-renowned Airline Excellence Awards by AirlineRatings.com.au.

The judging panel is made up of seven judges, who between them have more than 200 years of aviation experience, coming from the United States, France, the United Kingdom and Australia. The airlines are assessed on 12 key criteria for the awards including customer reviews, product offerings, safety, fleet age, profitability and environmental leadership. AirlineRatings.com says that Air New Zealand has remained at the top in virtually every category and is the clear industry leader, who is committed to excellence in all areas of business.
