Since Emirates first launched their Premium Economy service on their A380 (read news article here), routes were initially limited to popular travel destinations such as Londom, Paris, Sydney and Christchurch. Upon expansion of their service, the Emirates Premium Economy product also expanded to more destinations such as New York JFK, San Francisco, Melbourne and Auckland. With the aim to offer more customers opportunities to experience the Emirates Premium Economy product, its latest announcement (offering two more points to its network or Sao Paulo and Tokyo) is no surprise.
They offer a 2-4-2 cabin configuration along with 56 seats within Emirates Premium Economy on the Airbus A380 With the class being located at the front of the main deck, this enables passengers priority boarding and exit. Every inch of space within Emirates Premium Economy cabin is utilised, with a large seat pitch and breadth for working and resting, as well as bespoke elements that provide function and convenience, such as in-seat charging outlets and a side cocktail table. The flight experience is enhanced with thoughtfully curated in-flight amenities, an inventive menu and a wide range of beverage selections.
As Emirates retrofit initiative gains momentum and the upgraded product expands to additional routes, São Paulo is set to become the 13th city served by Emirate’s newly retrofitted flagship Airbus A380 aircraft. Furthermore, the number of destinations offering Premium Economy will increase to 14, including the addition of Tokyo Narita. To showcase the new Emirates Premium Economy seats, the aircraft operating on these routes will feature refreshed interiors, providing an enhanced look and feel.
